Contact
TomeReader is a small, independently run project. There is no support queue and no ticket system — email reaches a person, and we read everything, though a reply may take a few days.
What to write about
Something is wrong with a book
Missing chapters, garbled text, a mismatched or broken audiobook, or the wrong author attributed. Tell us the book and what you saw and we will fix it or pull the page.
Suggest a book or a guide
If a classic you want is missing, or there is a reading order or author guide you wish existed, suggest it. Requests genuinely shape what we write next.
Copyright concerns
Everything here is public domain in the United States, but mistakes are possible. If you believe a work is still under copyright or has been mis-attributed, contact us and we will review it promptly and remove it if warranted.
Accessibility
If something about the reader is hard to use — contrast, font sizing, keyboard navigation, screen-reader behavior — we want to hear about it. These reports get priority.
Press and advertising
Questions about the project, or about advertising on the site, are welcome at the same address.
Before you write
A few questions come up often enough that the answer is already written down. Our About page covers whether the site is free, why no account is needed, where the audio comes from, and why these books are legal to read. The Privacy Policy covers what data is collected and how to turn off personalized ads.
If you want the raw public-domain texts in bulk rather than reading them here, Project Gutenberg publishes them for that purpose and is the better source.
